| By land, the Falls may be reached
by the BR 277 (federal highway), which connects
Curitiba to Foz do Iguaçú and by
the BR 469 (The Cataratas Highway), which connects
the city to the Park. The city of Foz do Iguaçú
is 650km distant from Curitiba, the capital city
of the state of Paraná.

The Park can be reached from Foz do Iguaçú,
28km from the city on the BR 469 - The Cataratas Highway.
The entrance gate is on the 18km milestone of the
Cataratas Highway and visitors have to travel 12km
inside the Park to reach the Iguaçú
Falls.
The Iguaçú National Park is conveniently
located only 5km from the Foz do Iguaçú
International Airport and the Convention Center, and
is close to all major hotel in the area.
