The Trail to the Falls
|
| |
| The trails to the Falls start at
the belvedere located in front of the Cataratas
Hotel and run 1,200m along the right shore of
the Iguaçú River.
May different angles of the waterfalls may
be seen along the trail and all the way to the
walkways that take visitors to a very close
spot to the Devil's Gorge. As if they were before
a large orchestra, sightseers are overwhelmed
by the music coming from the waters while discovering
the privilege of admiring such majestic show
of nature.
The wild surroundings, the exuberant flora
and fauna are a gift to those who venture to
enter the jungle.

Those walking the trail will be
awarded the company of multicolored butterflies,
the friendly quatis (raccoons) and of other small
Park animals.
The most exciting spot in the trail is when
visitors get on the walkway leading to the Falls
and are embraced by Mother Nature.

|
|
| There, with an almost
childish joy in their eyes, visitors record every
detail in images that will always be in their
memories.
Knowing how hard it is to describe such experience,
sightseers will shoot away with their cameras.
Those who do not wish to walk the trails may
reach the Falls on foot or by bus to the Porto
Canoas area.
